We recently installed these ceiling lamps in our bedrooms. Not only do they produce wonderful light, but they make the rooms feel fresh and contemporary. The design is similar to what youd find in high-end stores, but of course at Ikea it costs far less! And it was a snap to assemble.

Use an opal light bulb if you have an ordinary lamp shade or lamp and want an even, diffused distribution of light.
The timeless design of ALÄNG lamps makes us like it just as much today as when it was launched in 2001. Add to this, the soft light and the ability to adjust the height of the table and floor lamps.

We love this ceiling lamp! Gives off a beautiful diffused light. Very elegant and perfect for our low ceiling.

Fairly easy to install – had to strip the wires an additional half inch to expose the wires better. Found the hole pattern in the metal plate used to secure it to the ceiling did not match my mounting but was able to drill my own hole to fit.
